This special issue, guest edited by Victoria Hasko (University of Georgia) and Karen Evans-Romaine (University of Wisconsin–Madison), explores career readiness in Russian and other Slavic language programs through a range of theoretical, curricular, and programmatic perspectives. Contributions examine strategies for aligning language teaching with workforce needs, building interdisciplinary and community partnerships, preparing students for internships and professional pathways, and supporting learners’ engagement with multilingual and multicultural contexts where Slavic languages are used.Articles
