About This Journal
Mission. To provide an academic journal that helps bridge the gap between academic research and the practices of nonprofit practitioners working on the ground.
Vision. Promoting best practices through an online, open-access journal by highlighting the latest research, thought papers, and nonprofit spotlights that address innovative approaches to community and global issues.
Research Articles: As an international, open-access journal, we welcome research papers and articles from diverse perspectives in the areas that impact community and global issues. Submissions may be any length, however, research articles should not exceed 8,000 words (including the main text, references, appendices and endnotes). The submission of a manuscript is an indication from the author(s) that the manuscript has not been published elsewhere and is not currently under review at another publication.
Thought Papers: We welcome Thought Papers from nonprofit leaders and practitioners on the ground to discuss their experiences and innovative approaches in solving community and global issues. Submissions may be any length, however, thought papers should not exceed 2500 words excluding the references, bios and CVs, which can be added in an appendix to the paper. The submission of a manuscript is an indication from the author(s) that the manuscript has not been published elsewhere and is not currently under review at another publication.
