Whether new to the ranks or a seasoned veteran, it's hard to forget those first few years of your teaching career-mine have been burned into my memory like a brand on cattle. The policy information overloads, the crippling case of Imposter's Syndrome, the sleepless nights, the tower of essays to grade, the classroom management fiascos, the lesson plan flops, and meetings, meetings, meetings. These things can be the stuff of nightmares.
