Description
A delicate sea spider resting on coral propagates in the Florida Keys nursery. This photo was taken at the Coral Restoration Foundation’s offshore coral nursery, where Staghorn propagates are placed on “coral trees”. Here, these corals grow exponentially faster, allowing volunteers like myself to transplant these beautiful creatures back onto the reef. These efforts help to restore the Florida Keys Reef Tract and the life that flourishes from it.
