Description
The purpose of this project was to create an open educational resource (OER) for guiding in-service and pre-service K-12 teachers, as well as their administrators, in blending the K-12 classroom. The field of K-12 blended teaching research needs blended teaching competencies, as well as the instructional materials needed to meet such competencies. This OER text helps to meet this need. The development project included background research for content as well as features needed for a quality guidebook, included working with multiple authors and designers across the country, and analyzing evaluations of the work provided by researchers in the field and practicing K-12 teachers.
