Abstract
GUAD 2D is a finite volume based two-dimensional model for the numerical simulation and analysis of flood waves caused by different factors such as extreme rainfall, gradual or sudden dam break.. The model is able to deal with critical, subcritical or mixed flow situations over irregular topography. The computation requires initial conditions, that can correspond to dry bed or any other flow state.
