Abstract
From 25 years of personal experiences in education and 20 years of wilderness guiding experiences, one of the researchers of this study has seen learning experiences at both ends of the spectrum. In the formal classroom, experiences are often aseptic and devoid of all but the stimuli that the teacher wants to introduce.
