Linguistic Fieldwork: A Practical Guide. Book Review
Keywords
Book review, linguistic fieldwork
Abstract
Good book! We will use it in our field methods course and recommend it to our students who engage in fieldwork. Some of its especially positive features are the summaries and recommended further readings grouped into categories at the end of each chapter, a good bibliography, the inclusion of good chapters on technology in the field, ethics, and grant writing, and the fact that it was tested on students in several field methods classes.
