Data Set Description Summary
Translated writings of early Christian leaders and councils (c. AD 50–800) as found in the Ante-Nicene Fathers (ANF), and in the Nicene and Post-Nicene Fathers (NPNF 1&2).
The Apostolic Fathers and those associated with them in the third generation, are here placed together in a handbook, which, with the inestimable Scriptures, supplies a succinct autobiography of the Spouse of Christ for the first two centuries.
The three series consist of 37 volumes, 65 authors, and 500 books. Some of the authors include Polycarp, Ignatius, Justin Martyr, Irenæus, Tertullian, Origen, Augustine, Chrysostom, Eusebius, Athanasius, Jerome, Ambrose, Gregory the Great, etc.
