Biography

Antonie Graf was an Austrian journalist and athlete born in Vienna on April 20, 1845. Se began under the pseudonym AS Machold and wrote in the Vienna Housewives newspaper. Later, she published sketches, essays, and book reviews in the “Viennese literature newspaper”. She was the co-founder of the charitable organization “Holiday Home” in Vienna and founded the Viennese Ladies Swimming Club in 1894. She also gave some lectures in 1912. She died on February 23, 1929.
