Biography
Friederike Henkel was born Friederike Arnold and lived in Kassel and the Hesse region of Germany. She wrote several novels and was a literary editor. Her brother Carl Johann Arnold was the royal count painter and her portrait has been on public display at the Nationalgalerie Berlin.
