Erstdruck (anonym): Berlin (Johann Friedrich Unger) 1806. Die Verfasserschaft ist nicht gesichert. Das Werk wird auch Charlotte von Ahlefeld (1781–1849) oder Paul Ferdinand Friedrich Buchholz (1768–1843) zugeschrieben, Buchholz hat sich selbst als Verfassers genannt. Die moderne Forschung geht jedoch davon aus, daß das Werk von Friederike Helene Unger (evt. in Zusammenarbeit mit Buchholz) geschrieben wurde : An Cäsar; Erstes Buch; Zweites Buch; Drittes Buch
