Abstract
Elder D. Todd Christofferson is a member of the Presidency of the Seventy. In fall 2004, the Religious Educator asked Elder Christofferson to look back over his six years as executive director of the Family and Church History Department. During Elder Christofferson's tenure, the Church History and Family History departments, previously separate organizations, were consolidated. At the end of July 2004, Elder Marlin K. Jensen replaced Elder Christofferson in the Family and Church History Department.
