Abstract
Twenty-three years after the first CD release of the 1955 Milanov-Bjorling recording of Aida, Sony has finally dug out the original tapes to commemorate Verdi 200 years after his birth, thus also honoring the memory of some of the greatest singers of the 20th century to interpret on of his operas.
