Notes on Hells Canyon birds

Abstract

An annotated list of 108 bird species is reported from several spring and two summer visits, as well as one fall and one winter visit, into Hells Canyon on the Idaho–Oregon border. This is the first report on the avifauna of one of the deepest gorges in earth.
