Does Nature Love to Hide? Heraclitus B123 DK

Keywords

Heralitus, Nature hiding, Nature loves to hide, philosophy

Abstract

Kahn has rights pointed to the verbal complexity in Heraclitus' expression, and a personification of nature would be no more startling than many striking images he uses. The literal translation of the verb as "loves" or the like has been popular among translators.
