Abstract
Man observes many phenomena occurring in nature which he can use to his benefit. He observes how physical quantities vary as a function of their environment in order to predict how these variations will affect a system he wishes to design. For this purpose, he must establish a model that is representative of the relation between those physical quantities and certain environments to which they are subjected.
