Biography
Warner P. Woodworth is a social entrepreneur and professor at Brigham Young University's Marriott School of Management. He is also a consultant to major corporations, governments, NGOs, and trade unions. Woodworth has produced ten books and more than two hundred articles, book chapters, and conference papers. He has been a founder and/or director of sixteen NGOs that in 2007 alone raised more than US $28 million and grew to more than 3 million poor clients. The author thanks his former students Chris Thompson, Shon Hiatt, and Shad Morris for field research and assistance in drafting brief reports on several MFI cases.
