Data Set Description Summary
Two cohorts of students enrolled in a non-major introductory biology course were surveyed in 2020 and 2025 using the Revised New Ecological Paradigm (R-NEP) instrument. Open-ended student responses concerning their definition of ‘rule’ as a human prerogative were also analyzed using qualitative coding.
