It’s the end of the year—we’ve made it through and it’s time to celebrate! Gary Soto’s “Ode to Photographs” is light and silly and fun. To finish off fourth term, our imitation poem celebrates successful completion of 7th grade. I ask students to choose something small that gave them great pleasure and a cause to celebrate.
