Biography
Gerhard Lamprecht was a German film director, screenwriter, and film historian born on October 6, 1897 in Berlin. He directed 63 films between 1920 and 1958. He also wrote for 26 films and served as director of the Deutsche Kinemathek. He died on May 4, 1974.
