Abstract

Dear members:

I am again in a comfortable position to tell you that the financial situation of our Society is just as favorable as it was a year ago as per December 27, 1968. This is all the more remarkable as our expenses are cca. $ 200.-- higher than last year and due to the general decline of the bond priced our tax-exempt New York State Power Authority Bond value in correlation with the general trend in the stock market, also declined somewhat. Nevertheless, due to the very thorough drive to collect the membership fees, we not only off-set these two negative factors, but our final balance shows a $101.02 plus compared to last year's total assets.
