Abstract
This beautifully illustrated book is the product of an unusual cooperation between an art writer and teacher and a company president who, together with his wife, is deeply concerned with living art and artists. W11oever approaches the seat of Geigy Chemical Corpor ation near the village of Ardsley, New York, is struck by a bold metal sculpture, the work of the Swiss artist Bernhard Luginbuhl. Entering the office of the President of Geigy, the visitor finds himself in the middle of modern works of art. The same is true for other offices. These paintings and sculptures have one thing in common: they are beyond the usual cliches of any art fashion, but chosen with a sure taste for originality among artists who have something to say.
