Abstract

In the past year, the SAHS has carried out a number of activities. The constant, and a mainstay, is the Newsletter edited by Professors Leo Schelbert and Heinz K. Meier. I would like to thank both of them for all their painstaking work they devote to this publication that is the vital link for the members of our society. I also wish to express special thanks to Dean Meier for providing the services for producing and mailing the Newsletter, and I would like to ask him to convey our appreciation to the appropriate officials at Old Dominion University for extending their Gastrecht to our publication.
