Abstract
The Large Kirill and Methodius Encyclopedia (LKME) version for 2000 is produced on a series of 7 CD-ROM's or a DVD and runs on Windows™. Minimum requirements are Windows™ 95, Pentium processor, 16 MB HD space, 4X CD-ROM Drive, 16 bit sound card, SVGA (high color) 16 bit video card and mouse. A two CD- ROM version of the encyclopedia is also available but does not include the sound and video files that are found in the larger version. This review will consider only the larger version. Information in Russian about the encyclopedia, can be found at the site . While the cost quoted by the manufacturer is only $39, no provision is made for direct credit card purchases.
