Burnout, stress, mental health in the workplace
Abstract
Over three-fourths of the workforce is reaching a point where they are no longer able to continue working due to any combination of stress, anxiety, or other mental ailments. According to a study done by Gallup, a global analytics and advice firm, 76% of employees “experience burnout on the job at least sometimes, and 28% say they are burned out ‘very often’ or ‘always’ at work.” The implications of such a high percentage are not to be ignored.
