Abstract
Wood is a sculpting medium that possesses a natural beauty, a beauty which can be enhanced by manipulation. Wood facilitates much creativity in form, has inherent strength, but can also exhibit construction limitations. One of the objectives driving this research project was to broaden the usage of wood in the field of sculpture.
