Abstract
The purpose of my project is to create images that combine the strengths of photographic and painted imagery. Many contemporary artists combine painted and photographic elements in their work, however, rarely are the two distinct visual languages unified. Most often any viewer can readily distinguish between the photograph and paint. It is my challenge to visually bridge that gap.
