Abstract
This study was designed to examine the effects of exogenous gonadal hormones on the inhibition of lordotic behavior in estradiol benzoate (EB) primed and non-primed male rats. Adult male rats were gonadectomized and given one of four treatments, blank (Bk), testosterone (T), progesterone (P), or testosterone plus progesterone (T + P). Animals were then given 5 pg EB for three days prior to testing for lordotic behavior.
