Abstract
The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has had a presence in India for over 100 years. Yet, few people outside of India know anything about the members of the church in India. I first met the LDS church members in India in January of 1999. I was intrigued and inspired by these members who were willing to leave family, friends, religions and homes to join the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I was inspired by this initial visit and with the assistance and encouragement of Dr. David R. Rowberry and President Neal Twitchell, a former mission president in India, I decided to go back and collect the stories of the saints in India.
