Abstract
High Performance Organization (HPO) training developed in the early nineties at the Federal Executive Institute in Charlottesville, Virginia. This agency has the responsibility to train senior level executives in government agencies. Since its development, HPO seminars have been presented to many government, military, and private institutions. Essentially, the creators of HPO training have attempted to cast a net over the best ideas in organizational theory and to combine it into a coherent, internally consistent picture.
