Description
The purpose of my project was two-fold. Firstly, it aimed to create a supplemental course on Consumerism and Sustainability to accompany existing textbook readings in a BYU course on textiles. Secondly, the project sought to convert an activity from the chapter with passive learner-content interaction with the video lectures and chapter readings into one that had interactive learner-content interaction. This project was created for the instructor/students in the Textile Course 382 in FACS Education Department at BYU. By updating the course content, students would have an opportunity to interact with the content as well as with other students in a flipped classroom modality.
