Abstract
The February 1976 issue of Insights gave a short report on the question of how long it took Joseph Smith to translate the Book of Mormon as we have it today. That work began in earnest on April 7, 1829, and was completed by the end of June. A lengthy report may now be ordered chronicling, day by day, a documented history of this intense period of activity. "It is quite staggering," remarks Jack Welch, " when you realize all that was going on in those few days.
