Five new species of Mexican Pityophthorus in the Juglandis group are described: P. ablusus (Hidalgo), P. costifera (Guerrero), P. cracentis (Morelos), P. desultorius (Puebla), and P. insuetus (Morelos). New locality or host records are given for P. costabilis Wood, P. costatulus Wood, and P. diligens Wood. Previously published keys are modified to accommodate these species.
