Description of the female of Phalacropsylla hamata (Siphonaptera: Hystrichopsyllidae)

Abstract

The previously unknown female of Phalacropsylla hamata Tipton & Mendez is described and an allotype is designated. A key is provided to aid in distinguishing females of this genus.
