Abstract
Recognizing some known gaps in our own library's digital stewardship, several library employees with responsibility for aspects of digital content management suggested the formation of a task force to explore the library's needs and learn about potential solutions in the areas of personnel, workflows, and technologies. The Digital Content Exploratory Committee (DCEC) brought together stakeholders from Digital Initiatives, Special Collections, Cataloging & Metadata, subject librarians, and Library Information Technology to perform targeted fact-finding and to formulate informed recommendations to help our library administrators strategize digital content management.
