Abstract
Avery Dennis’ last breakup could not have come at a more appropriate time. She needed a topic for her final English oral history project, and now she has one. With the help of her science partner James “Hutch” Hutcherson, she’s going to interview every boyfriend she’s had to try and find out why they started dating and more importantly, why they broke up. As they travel down the long and winding journey of exes, from camp counselors to actual movie stars, Avery and Hutch try their best to find a common thread between all the breakups. In the end, they discover that the only common thread just might be that she’s been looking for love in all the wrong guys, when the right guy could have been right next to her the whole time.
