Abstract
Stewart and Craig met last year at summer camp and quickly became best friends. The extraordinary thing is that Stewart is a boy and Craig is a pen. They do everything together, like most best friends. They draw, play act, tease Stewart's little sister, play pranks, and sometimes argue. They are inseparable, until one day, Craig is gone. Stewart searches everywhere, but alas, no Craig. He is offered replacements, but they just won’t do. Then the mail brings a letter from Craig. Although he is far away, they can still be best friends and pen pals!
