Abstract
Whoot! Whoot! All aboard for a timeless trip to the trainyard. Clackety Track: Poems About Trains gives us thirteen different charming poems about trains. “Look close—not every train’s the same. Let’s see how many we can name.” They come in all shapes and sizes, from freight to underground train, steam engines to bullet train, sleeper train and dinner cars. Watch out for the train snow plow! This book certainly has it right, “There’s nothin’ plain about a train.”
