Abstract

Pick a Pumpkin is a celebration of the age-old tradition of carving pumpkins for Halloween. Readers take a journey with a brother and sister to the pumpkin patch to pick the perfect pumpkin. Then we see the pumpkin transformation take place. From cleaning the pumpkin to scooping out the insides to carving a funny or scary face, the pumpkin becomes a glowing jack-o-lantern! After some decorations are put up and costumes put on, the family is ready to set out their festive jack-o-lanterns and go trick-or-treating!
