Abstract
A fairy couple in the city of Myth-hattan adopt a baby, Tess, and when she grows to be a car-sized toddler they know she is a giant. Tess, however, just wants to be like everyone else. When she tries to help set up for the big parade, she accidentally crushes one of the floats and runs off to hide. Soon she hears someone else who is sad and goes to help, finding a dragon, who happens to be just her size. After she pulls a thorn from his paw, the new friends go to watch the parade from a distance—until a runaway balloon gives the pair an opportunity to save the day.
