Abstract
Not only is silk one of the world’s most luxurious fabrics, it is also one of the strongest natural textiles. This story tells about a photographer’s journey to Thailand to learn more about how silk is made. He learns that silk comes from silkworms. As he immerses himself into the process of making silk, he learns the legend of how silk was invented, witnesses how the silkworms are cared for, and even joins in a lesson of silk weaving.
