Abstract

Marin has been shuttled around from foster home to foster home, continually wishing that her mother would come back. When the lovely Dr. Lucy wants to adopt Marin, Marin turns away, still dreaming of a time when she can live with her mom again. As the day for adoption comes closer, Marin puts her plan to find her mother into action. When hope turns into despair, it’s only a San Francisco earthquake that can pull Lucy and Marin together again.
