Abstract
Have you ever wanted to go back in time and experience an event firsthand? Jack and Annie get to live historical adventures time after time in The Magic Treehouse series. In Revolutionary War on Wednesday, they travel back to the 1700’s when George Washington was about to cross the Delaware River for a sneak attack on the Hessians on Christmas. The two children accidentally get onto the boat as it crosses the river and convince Washington to continue his attack when he doubts himself. After completing their mission, the children find the treehouse and head back home to prepare themselves for their next adventure.
