Abstract
When life gives you lemons, what do you do? This darling picture book tells the story of a lonely little yellow canary. One day, Trevor notices a friend just outside of his comfy cage. He ventures out and even shares his prized stripy seeds with his new friend, who just so happens to be a bright yellow lemon. Although the lemon doesn’t say much, Trevor finds joy in his companionship with his new unlikely friend. That is until one day, a gust of wind blows him far away. Trevor is devastated. But, thanks to his kindness towards his yellow friend, Trevor is able to create more friendships while never forgetting his old one.
