Abstract
Tractor Mac helps the farmers on several neighboring farms. One farm is his favorite because there are train tracks along the fields. Iron Dave carries the train cars down the track each day and occasionally stops to talk with Tractor Mac. Iron Dave pulls stock cars, passenger cars, tank cars, hopper cars, and flatcars. Each car that is a part of the train looks the same because they're part of the same family. Tractor Mac thinks he's the only one of his kind, until Iron Dave carries train cars full of tractors that look just like Mac! Mac considers them his family, but the farm animals disagree. The farm animals are his family because they know and love him. After a trip to the tractor dealership, Mac realizes that that is not the tractors’ home, it's just a place they go until they find a home like Mac's. In the end, Mac would not trade his farm family for anything!
