Abstract
Toodles the turkey is one lonely bird. She has friends—lots of them—but no best friend to make her feel secure. Teeny is a tiny little turkey that has no friends at all. When the two meet by chance one day, they instantly hit it off and quickly become best friends. There’s just one problem. Toodles’s barnyard pals feel left out and sad that Toodles has been spending so much time with Teeny, and eventually they decide to move on. Toodles tries to convince them she still wants to be friends, but to no avail. Teeny ends up providing the support needed to bring all of them together again so that no one feels left out or forgotten.
