Abstract
Anna Wang is an adolescent trying to find her place in the world. She is Chinese on her mother's side, but she was born and raised in the United States. Her baby sister was adopted from China. Anna goes on a trip to China to visit the orphanage her sister came from. This trip helps Anna accept her culture and feel good about being different. When she is in China, she is able to go back to her roots and be proud of who she is. Anna is able to see life from a different perspective, and it helps her to be happy with the life she has.
