Abstract

Floaty is a very special dog who receives his name from sewing fanatic Mr. Raisin. The elderly Mr. Raisin finds a package on his doorstep that contains the high-flying dog. Mr. Raisin grows to love the unexpected pet immensely, and he is heartbroken when Floaty's leash breaks during one of their walks and the dog floats away into the unknown. Mr. Raisin's sewing skills come in handy when he makes a giant hot-air balloon and uses it to rescue Floaty and bring him back home again.
