Abstract
Walking in the ways of bravery and boldness, Be A King relates the life of Martin Luther King Jr. to the lives of children today. Alternating from the events of Martin Luther King Jr.’s life to a modern classroom of students creating a historical mural, we learn how we can be leaders in our day to day interactions. Standing up for peace, believing in our cause and lifting up the less fortunate are just a few influential ways Dr. King was able to change the world. As the students create their work of art, they realize how significant their actions are when working to make a change for good.
